意大利西西里島報告警告說，黑手黨勢力在意大利南部日益增長。

意大利零售商譴責說，意大利黑手黨的勒索範圍不斷擴大，不僅大公司遭殃，小商家也跟著受影響。

最新的報告顯示，意大利黑手黨已搖身一變成為該國最大的商業組織之一，年營業額高達1200億美元（600億英鎊）。

由意大利零售商協會完成的這份報告警告說，黑手黨勢力在意大利南部日益增長。報告估計，意大利7%的產出是由有組織犯罪組織控制的。

意大利零售商協會說，黑手黨勒索範圍不斷擴大，從小商家到大公司無一幸免，報告對此表示嚴重關注。
